A mom is a mom all of her life.
What do Moms
do? They love their children. They pray and trust God for the well-being of
their children. We are given many
examples of praying mothers in scripture.
Elizabeth, mother
of John the Baptist, prayed. She was
barren but trusted God to do with her life what was best. Mary, mother of Jesus, prayed. She became a willing vessel for God’s
cause. Sarah, mother of Isaac, prayed
and was provided a child in her old age.
Hannah, mother of Samuel, prayed and gave thanks to God for the blessing
of a son. We are given many other
examples of Mothers who prayed and trusted God.
Prayer is needed
by Moms as they raise their children.
Prayer is an example children should be learning from their Moms. Prayer is a life-line of communication.
