Think on These Things

     I am sure God is very familiar with the term “delay” which is postponing Him. I believe we all do it; for instance: 

 

“God, wait just one moment. Let me review Facebook first.” This is not putting God first. That is delaying!

 

“God, I am really busy right now. I will talk with you when I go to bed.”  Then, I fall asleep in the middle of my conversation with Him. That is not putting God first. That is delaying too long!

 

“God, I really need to talk with You, and I will as soon as this movie or news broadcast goes off.” That is not putting God first! That is delaying!

 

     I really do not think God is pleased with “delaying”. We delay, then we whine about our unanswered prayers.
