“When the set time had fully come, God sent His Son…” In Luke 1:31, we find that God named His son. “And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name Jesus.”
Jesus is not only my Savior, but He is God’s Son, named by God, and His name is above all names.
The Name of Jesus
Jesus!
A name above all in heaven, on and under the earth;
A name of holy worth.
A name to be exalted and uplifted;
A name given the Savior for which we were gifted.
Jesus!
A name every tongue will sing;
A name exalted as the King.
A name before which everyone will kneel;
A name before who, our fate will be sealed.
Jesus!
He is the Christ-
He is the One who paid life’s price.
Jesus!
Exalt His name!
Christ, Messiah, Jesus, Savior-
They are all One and the same.
