Food for Thought: I picked up my new Bible study book this week and am excited about getting back into the study of God's word; however, my devotional this morning pointed out something more for me to consider. The heading read, "Spiritual growth isn't based on how much you know. it's based on how much you obey." Then the writer gave John 8:31-32 (CEV) as the scripture, "If you keep on obeying what I have said, you truly are my disciples. You will know the truth, and truth will set you free."
Along with Bible Study comes obedience! It appears to me that one is harder than the other, but it is a choice I must make daily, and the right choice comes with benefits; like love joy, peace...
