Malachi 3:10 ERV says, “Bring one-tenth of your things to me.” Other versions say, “Bring all your tithe into the storehouse.” Jacob made a vow in Genesis 28:22b, “And of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.”
I believe this means not only in terms of financial gain but time, as well. I have to ask during the span of my 12-hour day, do I give a tenth of my time to God? God should be in every decision, action, and word that comes from my mouth. That would require much more than a tenth! And, if given, the rewards reaped would be so much more.
Lord, let my thoughts be in You at all times!
