Pivotal Point

A pivotal point, as defined, is a crucial moment, event, or idea that significantly influences the outcome of something. It acts as a turning point that determines what will come next.

     A few of my fleshly pivotal points have been:

Graduation

Employee

Marriage,

Birth of a child

Divorce

    But there has been one pivotal point in my life that rises far above any other in my life, and that is my salvation experience where I recognized that Jesus died for me and that He is my Savior and Son of God.

     There will be another fleshly pivotal point in death, but I look forward to yet another pivotal point. There will be one with the Rapture,  where Jesus returns to take his children to be with Him. I will be included!

     My prayer is that whoever has not accepted Christ, do it now, before it is too late in death or before the Rapture.  I want you to "Go With Me."

Capture The Rapture

After reading The Great Disappearance by Dr. David Jeremiah, I was inspired to write the following:

Capture The Rapture

No one knows the time,

but God’s children listen for the chime

for when Jesus will appear in the air.

A trumpet will blair,

but not all will hear.

There will be a mighty shout,

“Come Forth!”

 Graves will open from the East, West, South, and North.

Bodies will be disbursed;

All will happen unrehearsed!

First, the dead in Christ will rise to the skies;

Wind will gather the scattered dead.

In that day, there will be nothing to dread;

Only a reunion in the sky with Jesus’ cry.

Quickly, the living will ascend and disappear-

away from others standing near.

Bodies will join souls;

Joy will erupt with Jesus in control.

What a sight for those who see!

What a joy to fall at Jesus’ knee!

He came to set the body free

and to heal in the great reveal;

No flaw, only awe-

No scars or mars, no prison bars-

It will be a mystery for those left behind

who remained blind.

They did not see this great event

or where the people went.

Hours will be spent in confusion

With no right conclusion.

God had come to get His own

leaving the blind to moan and groan.

Look up; Look ahead!

All will not remain dead.

For God’s children, there will be a rapture;

 a bodily capture.

This will be the great disappearing,

Leaving the left-behind, confused and fearing.

The Rapture

Scripture tells us “no one knows the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” when the Rapture of God’s children will take place. In Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, The Great Disappearance, he states that there “will be a resurrection command, ‘Come Forth’. It will not name a single individual but will be heard by every believer in every grave around the world. All those tombs will empty,  and the resurrected believers will fly skyward.”

     The Rapture excites me! What a reunion there will be! I am secure in the knowledge that I will be part of it.

     Following is a little acronym of the Rapture.

esurrected

     “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrected and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” John 11: 25

A live

     “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins.” Colossians 2:13

P urified

     “Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.” Daniel 12:10

T ransformed

     “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

U nited

     “For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we will certainly also be united with Him in a resurrection like His.” Romans 6:5

R edeemed

     “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come to His people and redeemed them.” Luke 1:68

E ternal life

     “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13
