March 18
A couple had
been married for 45 years and had been blessed with 11 children and 22
grandchildren. When asked to what they
contributed the length of their marriage, he said, “We made a pact that
whichever one left had to take the kids.”
Attitude – a
good one is what it takes to make a relationship. It is never good to become
angry and hold grudges. Those kinds of
grudges only end up hurting ourselves.
We cannot change another’s attitude, but we can be responsible for our
own. If you cannot find it in your heart
to go the person you have a grudge against, at least ask God to remove it from
your heart and forgive it anyway. The
Bible says, “Be kind to each other and forgive one another even as God in
Christ forgave you.”
Psalm 4:4
In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search
your hearts and be silent.
