I do not like war. I enjoy peace and calm and wish it on others, as well. God knew when He created me, I would have to fight battles. I am referring to battles within over good and evil. But God did put within me a way to be victorious- a way to win.
“The One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4. This is the Power that allows my victory.
Having said this, I am reminded of the song, Victory in Jesus.
"Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever.
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood.
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him.
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood."
